Icebound land #3

The third Rangers Apprentice is probably the most boring one. i think so anyway. However, that doesn't mean that it isn't good. It's actually a very well written book and very exciting but its predictable. this book also reveals a lot more about halt and his devotion to his apprentice. If you haven't read the other ones than i suggest that you read those first or you wont understand much about whats going on.

The Burning Bridge

The second Rangers Apprentice is another good book. The story plot is a good one, but its not the most exciting. In the book Halt and Will are tracking a group of Wargals. eventually they find them and another surprise. A lieutenant of Morgoraths army deserted him. Will and Halt find him dead at the feet of the wargals. In his pack is a big surprise that will help King Duncan destroy Morgorath once and for all. Then Will goes to Celtica to ask for soldiers for the upcoming war between Duncan and Morgorath, but the Celtic people aren't there. They set out to find out what happend to them. then they make a discovery that could be fatally dangerous to Duncan's army. When Will is trying to destroy this surprise, he is captured by Skandians. meanwhile during the big battle Horace challenges Morgorath to hand-to-hand combat. This decides the fate of Arulean.

Rangers Apprentice #1 Ruins of Gorlan

Rangers Apprentice isn't a normal book. Ranger Apprentice is the best book out there! It's better, to me, than Eragon! Though those two are my favorite books. Rangers Apprentice is written by a man named John Flannagan, an amazing writer. There are going to be seven books, but only the first four have been published.

The story is a bout a boy named Will who is shunned and, quite literally, looked down at because he is short. He grows up in a ward at castle Redmont, taken care of by Baron Arald. he is apprenticed to a ranger name Halt, who is a grim looking guy. Morgarath, the bad guy, is assassinating impotent people with creatures known as the Kalkara. Will and Halt go and try to fined these assassins.

I would recomend it to anyone. It is the most awsomest book out there.

Eldest

Christopher Paolini did an incredible on Eldest! Once again he amazes me with his creative imagination and writing skills. I think that the best part was the end because it was such a good cliff hanger and left me completely psyched for Brisinger. I couldn’t wait and I still can't. The story goes something like this...
Ajihad dies and Eragon must leave for Du Weldenvarden to complete his training with the elves. When he gets there he meets Orimis and Glaedr, another dragon and rider. They are the ones who train him for his eventual face-off with Galbatorix. The scar that Durza gave Eragon continues to pain him, but something happens that makes the pain bearable. After scrying Arya, he learns that the Varden are preparing to battle Galbatorix's army and he must abandon his training for the time being to help them. During the battle he meets someone unexpected and, here’s the twist, Angela predicted it in Eragon.
Meanwhile Roran, Eragons cousin must fight his own battle. the Raz'ac come to take him the the king but Roran decides he doesn’t want to go so he gathers the village of Carvahall and they run to Surda, a country that opposes the Empire, and from there, hopefully the Varden.

Eldest (Movie)

I just heard that there might not be an Eldest movie. They did such a poor job on Eragon that I dont even think its possible to make an Eldest movie. They made so many mistakes that they wouldnt be able to fix it and put in the Eldest story plot in one movie, they might be able to do it in two, but defenetly not one. I hope that they can do it but im not getting my hopes up.

Eragon (Movie)

The eragon movie is not what i thought it would be. I love Eragon but the movie was not at all as good as the book. It didn't follow the story plot, Eragon wasn't chasing the Raz'ac, they never visit Tierm, and they get all the locations wrong, and countless other mistakes. Its good if you think of it as something other than Eragon. If your determined to watch Eragon, Read the book last.

Eragon

Im quite sure we've all heard of Eragon, and for select few who have not, its a very good book.
Eragon is about a boy named Eragon who finds a round, blue stone. That stone turns out to be a dragon egg and the evil king is after it. The dragon hatches and Eragon names her Saphira. He then travels around Alagasia learning magic and swordsmanship and to join the Varden, a rebel group determined to resist the evil king, Galbatorix.
